Possibilities

It’s another hazy morning outside my window as the world wakes up to do whatever it has to do. As for me I’m just a watcher. Who after a surprisingly good night’s sleep, find myself not shaking as usual. Which I’ll call a plus from the anxiety I imprisoned myself into yesterday. But it’s where a moment of sharpened survival skills pulled me from danger and give me yet another escape route from the bad old wolf.

My family doesn’t think much of the acrobatic moves I pull, considering it’s all done with smoke and mirrors. But for the moment it gives me my independents away from the prying eyes of those who chastise me for surviving. But life is about living and to preach discipline while indulging yourself is a bit hypocritical to the eyes of the have-not. But I carry on living in a world that I know isn’t fair. But that I know there ain’t a damn thing I can do about it.

So I live in the relative ease of my deniability blissfully enjoying the pleasures of a simple man promised a rainbow but only feeling the rain. So what do we do, cry foul, and destroy the whole system? When the whole system is all we got. These are questions I leave for a wiser person. For right now all I know is that I’m surviving with as little aggravation as possible.
