Just when I feel like I’m living in that “Deluxe Apartment in the Sky”. I’m reminded I’m just another working-class grunt living on another man’s dime. Today will be our second home inspection in less than four months. I remember all too well living in government housing and how they looked for any excuse to come probing and prodding through our stuff just to be nosy. I understand that their justification is to make sure the shareholders are getting their best return. But do all renters have to put up with constant invasion of privacy?

Funny how the working poor are the only people that have to put up with this. While the upper class with there baby oil stained walls, and constant forgiveness of sins. Carry on without consequence because they hold fat stacks. Funny how privilege and beauty seem to get the free ride, while those scraping to get by are looked on with suspicion. I don’t want to sound so angry or persecuted but when you look around you can’t help but see what you see.

I listened to a young man yesterday give the same speech my grandfather gave some 50 years ago. That the man (the ruling class) uses race, religion, and sexual orientation to divide US and keep US from seeing the truth. That we were nothing more than a commodity to them to be bartered and traded on the open market to keep them in power and wealth. When are we ever going to wake up to the fact that there are only two types of people in the world, rich and poor. The well off laugh amongst themselves at our ignorance knowing they hold all the cards. Now I’m not condemning capitalism or working hard to get ahead. What I am saying is quit pissing on my head and telling me it’s raining. And to my fellow poor folks, live an honest life and stop listening to the ruling class bullshit, and open your eyes
